Pay1st Integration Styles

There are two styles of Pay1st Integration:

Shop Integration

Discovery, distribution, and monetization

The Carry1st Shop ("Shop") Integration that allows for the distribution and monetization of Products in Africa and the Middle East. The customer journey is as follows:

1. The customer discovers the Product on the Carry1st Shop
2. The customer enters their customer ID linked to the Pay1st Partner’s account, with whom the Shop will validate to ensure that they exist
3. Once validated, the customer chooses a Product and pays for it using the payment method of their choice on the Shop
4. Once payment is successful, the Shop notifies the Pay1st Partner’s servers to credit the customer’s account with their Product

Gateway Integration

Seamless experience integrating local payment methods

The Gateway Integration allows Pay1st Partners to offer all of Pay1st’s local payment methods in their native checkout experience. The customer journey is as follows:

1. The customer initiates a payment using their preferred payment method offered by Pay1st within the Pay1st Partner’s checkout experience
2. The Pay1st Partner sends a payment request to Pay1st and the customer proceeds to complete their payment
3. Once the payment has been successful, Pay1st notifies the Pay1st Partner’s servers to credit the customer’s account with their Product
